Still remember this show like it was yesterday, I’ve been to 100s of gigs and festivals over the years but this one will always hold a special place in my heart. The entire day was perfect, the weather , the atmosphere, the support bands and of course LP absolutely smashed it. Chester’s vocals were so on point on that night. RIP man ❤

Наслаждаюсь творчеством этой группы, самые мощные концерты 2013 и 2015 годов. , смотрю всегда с огромным удовольствием. Одна из самых мощнейших энергетик на сцене, подача, исполнение, атмосфера просто огонь. Хотел бы чтобы в Россию приехали и я побывал на концерте. Ive been to literally dozens and dozens of shows over my lifetime, however, i honestly didn't really pay too much attention to LP during their time , and damn ,damn how i regret it!! Wasn't at all anything intentional ,was still just always kinda stuck back in the 80s /90s hard rock erra, seeing pretty much everyone whos anyone in the rock scene,from the original AC/DC with front man bon Scott, to the Led Zeppelin reunion tour , to Aerosmith, Ozzy, and on and on .... But upon FINALLY, starting to listen to the main radio played LP songs , then driving deeper into their hidden tunes ect. ect.. ive obviously since realized the absolute, never ever before heard of , type of music,,and the literal,genius lyrics written by mike and chester over the course of the bands existence, im now straight fkn HOOKED!! ADDICTED!!! ... And also, unfortunately, live every damn day totally regretting not picking up on just the entire, whole idea, of just how freaking special this band really, truly was ,(is) , and also, living with obviously knowing, and remembering all the tour stops they made here in Cincinnati Ohio! And even though LP may not ever tour again, and my obviously not attending their shows, wow, i can only imagine, just how truly special the concerts were, and i absolutely ENVY everyone who had the absolute, pleasure, of seeing tbem, and the awesome memories theyll forever have, to keep close to them, and charish for a lifetime!! So now, onto this here particular show, held in Moscow. Im not sure if anyone else noticed or not, but to me personally, coming from someone who's extremely well alert, and very observent, to me ,it just appeared that chester ,was obviously there ya know, but same time,not truly, really, like 100% there, if you can pick up what im trying to point out. Just kinda seemed that , looking into his eyes , and facial expressions, just felt as though he was kinda almost inside another relm or something, or maybe like his mind was 50% someplace else or whatever, at some portions of the concert. And not just this show, but during several of LPs shows ive watched. Obviously i could be totally incorrect, and if so, i sincerely do apologize, because i absolutely love , and very much ,admire that man ,as well as the entire band. Im just noticing just how real , and how serious, his well-known bouts with depression, actually, truly, was effecting him, and during what should've been, his very best, happuest moments ,of being on stage, and straight up, having the entire fkn audiences ,inside the palm of his hand ya know... Soooo damn awful,soooo fkn sad the pain, that this great human being really, truly did endure, throughout his short time on earth!! And just confirms , exactly how severe ,that particular sickness, can be to a person. It actually runs in my bloodline (depression), but for whatever reason, chester, i guess just maybe felt way too overwhelmed from it, and adding the sudden death of his best buddy ( chris cornell), i imagine , maybe it all kinda suddenly came totally outta nowhere ,on that unfortunate day in 2017, and possibly chester had finally decided to just possibly ,idk, maybe surrender, to all the pain, and momentarily, just kinda maybe blocked out any,and everything, and also everyone,who obviously, were about to be affected, by what his mind was apparently,convincing him to follow through with. I mean obviously, im only kinda trying to, momentarily, kinda put my own self, kinda in his head back then , because dude clearly, had sooooooo fkn much to continue living for, and to suddenly just make such a crucial, extremely fragile decision like he did,is quite frankly ,mind boggling for myself!! anyway.,Wow, such a terrific man ,such a true talent, such a sweet, very humble, person, and now, nothing else, but a distant sad ,sad memory, for millions ,upon millions of us out here! Damn, damn ,FKN damn , chester!! The only question, that ill forever have, is like , obviously those close, and always around, and near him on a regular basis, obviously they all knew the severity of his health, depression, and the realistic possibilities which, unfortunately, also comes with that particular illness, my question will always be like, where was that one person,the one person whom, of, and when were faced with something in life, that could someday, ultimately result in such a horrible outcome, normally all of us, will at least have that one particular, specific person,who kinda always seemingly has that knack, of being able to reach us mentally, emotionally,or just during our very worse moments in life ,whom are usually capable of talking us outta something bad, helping us finally realize , recognize,the important people,and things which we truly do mean something to,and kinda helps us sorta off the ledge type of situation. So yeah, thats really only question i think of, is how come that person,for whatever reason, suddenly i guess just maybe wasn't within his reach ,or like ,on that particular day,where was this particular person, that's obviously assuming he actually had a safety net type friend,of loved one .

I’ve seen probably close to 1000 different bands live, whether smaller local, bigger signed, or the mashup of a music festival. It’s hard for me to make a definitive list of the best live bands I’ve seen. LP isn’t even in that list. They have a separate tier, shared with the Foo Fighters. I’ve seen them both twice. The atmosphere at the shows was absolutely surreal, not even including the performance. One LP show, Projeckt Revolution ‘06, Chester was noticeably sick with a cold or flu, but toughed it out and still sounded pretty great. And the one Foos show was the US tour after the Sweden show and broke his leg. He was stuck in the throne and couldn’t be his usual crazy and charismatic self. But the atmosphere for those 2 bands, where the entire sold out venue, know every single word to every single song and sing it at the top of their lungs. There’s no word I can think of to describe it and give the meaning it’s true definition. It really feels like you’ve ascended to some higher plane of existence. An out of body experience, if you will.

Wretches and Kings is such an underrated LP song. Was even on that EA MMA game. Honestly, that whole Thousand Suns album was underrated af. I was listening to it on repeat when it came out, while playing zombies on CoD: Black Ops.
